  29. Well, yes, but there might be some major problems that
  30. aren't noticed for a few weeks. Messenger 1.xx isn't stable
  31. enough at the moment to be included IMO, but there is enough
  32. time before a new version of Acornet is likely to be
  33. released for Messenger to become 'OK'.

  35. There is also a *big* problem with the use of toolbox apps -
  36. different applications request different module versions.
  37. So, for instance, Messenger only asks for Menu version 0.23,
  38. while NewsFind wants to load version 0.24. If Messenger is
  39. still open and you want to run NewsFind or any other apps
  40. which *RMEnsure the later module, then you get an error
  41. 'Menu has active tasks'.

  43. This kind of error occurs with other toolbox apps, where a
  44. later version is *rmensured, while an older version is
  45. already active in RAM. It's also complicated if you have OS
  46. 3.60, where older versions are in ROM. This needs to be
  47. fixed in the !Run files of every toolbox app.
